I got creative one night sitting with my wife at the ceramics store she paints at every week. I had been thinking about getting a nice large ash tray for my pipes. One thing led to another and I decided to make it myself.

I bought the greenware bowl, cleaned and painted it. Then found a pipe knocker for the center at a local tabacconists.
